With wide straps and a higher back and sides, it prevents digging in and bulging and keeps everything in place for great lift and side support, but some testers noted it was visible under certain clothing items.

It's designed specifically for larger cup sizes, and testers gave it perfect scores for being supportive. Our testers especially loved how supportive and comfortable this bra is, likely thanks to the super soft polyester fabric. Testers appreciated the adjustable straps that were "not overly thick," but wished the bottom band was a bit thicker. Unlike most bras, you can adjust the length of the straps in the front, not the back, so it's much easier to do on your own. Testers also found it easy to put on and take off.

As a full coverage smoothing wireless bralette, this pick from Soma is perfect for everyday wear with one tester even saying she'd wear it "all day and all night!" With higher sides and wider straps, it has a smoothing effect to prevent any bulges and an attractive v-cut neckline. The brand notes that the bottom band is designed to be snug, so they recommend going up a size if you want a less compressive feel.

Available in 15 colors with four different nude shades, you are sure to find a tone you love. It had especially high scores for comfort, but some testers did say the removable pads shifted a bit during wear. You can also remove the pads for a more natural shape.

ThirdLove Form 360 Fit Wireless Bra: This bra has molded foam cups for great support up top with a great size range. However, the brand is currently sold out in the 2X and 3X sizes in all colors.

Hanky Panky Lace Bralette: If you want a minimal bra that still looks great, this lacy bralette is ideal, but it offers very minimal nipple coverage that isn't for everyone.

Tommy John Comfort Smoothing Lightly Lined Wireless Bra: While testers were impressed with this bra's supportive fit, the bottom band stretched out in Lab tests. We did appreciate the bonded seams for an invisible look under clothes.

Aerie Sunnie Wireless Lightly Lined Bra: Previously included in this round-up, testers and analysts alike are big fans of Aerie bras. This style is an excellent buy, but testers reported after continued wear the pullover bottom band stretched out a bit.

Yitty Smoothed Reality Plunge Bra: We love that this bra is available up to a size 6XL and has clever features like a hook to create a racerback. Testers loved the support, but some found it too restrictive.

The Good Housekeeping Institute Textiles Lab puts all types of bras to the test, including strapless, backless and sports bras, for your dream lingerie drawer. In recent years, we have tested 68 different wireless bras in the Lab and with consumer testers.

In the Textiles Lab, we test each bra for stretch recovery and washability. As seen below, we stretch each bra to a set amount for an hour and then see if the material returns to its original length. We also wash each bra according to its care label five times to rate any shrinkage or changes in appearance.

By sending each style to multiple testers with a variety of cup sizes to get feedback on comfort, fit, support, ease of taking on and off and much more, we learn if people actually like wearing the bras. ✔️ Sizing: Finding your bra size can be extremely frustrating as many brands have different fits and size charts. So where should you start? First, it's best to know your measurements.
